Jayden and Jaxsen :: Santa Maria Children Portrait Photographer

"Want to see how fast I can run?" was pretty much the first thing Jayden said to me.  He waited for me to pull out my camera and proceeded to sprint across Waller Park like he was being chased by a stranger driving a white panel van, offering free candy and asking for help finding his lost puppy.  His mom trained him well.  Jaxsen is Jayden's baby brother and he didn't do a whole lot other than drool and eat wood chips from the ground.  He was a good kid though and only got fussy once.  Not too shabby!

Thanks for the good time, boys.  You made me even more anxious for my little girl to pop out in a couple months!  That's how it works, right?

The Robinsons :: Family Photographer

Chris and Tod met on the freeway, of all places.  I'm not going to share the story because that's their story but I just thought it was a cool thing to mention.  They've got a great looking family and a great sense of style which made my job, as the photographer, much easier.  The Robinsons live in Newbury Park and they came up just for this session.  Talk about pressure!  We met at the Oceano Train Depot because Noble loves trains (What little boy doesn't?).  After the train depot we headed to the Pismo Beach Monarch Grove to finish off the afternoon.  Those of you who know Pismo Beach know the butterflies don't show up until later in the year but I thought the sunlight shining through the trees would make for great natural light.  I think I was right!

I have to give props to baby Eliza Jazz for being so peaceful during the photo session.  She only fussed a few times but it was usually the result of the sun in her eyes.  The rest of the time she just laid back and waited.  Definitely something every baby photographer dreams of.
